I have enjoyed working with students who have all been at different levels in their education. I have found that every student learns differently and as a tutor in order to help them succeed you have to be able to quickly adapt your technique to fit that child. I have learned patience is key, it may take trying a few methods before finding one that benefits the student the most. I have always told my classes, "Learning can be fun; and if it's not, you may not be doing it right." Of course, that does not mean learning isn’t work; but part of growing up – and selecting a career – is learning that work can be enjoyable.
