While pursuing my own studies in college, I realized that I not only love learning but that I love to increase learning in others as well. Because of this, I spent many hours throughout college volunteering to tutor calculus and chemistry students. During my last two years of college, I worked as a chemistry teaching assistant, a position that allowed me to teach chemistry to groups of 25 college students. As I prepared for Medical School, I wanted to achieve the most possible out of my undergraduate experience at Brigham Young University. I have been a classroom teacher for the last 18 years. I have taught in both Public Junior High and High Schools, as well as Private School. I love teaching science, and love to make the class exciting. It really gets students going when you use current events to teach and when kids debate issues, it is a great learning opportunity!
I think all children are driven to learn, and if directed with a little help, everyone can learn how science changes peoples lives. I feel more like a coach and less like a lecturer. A Little Bit About Me...

As a teacher, I have a strong believe that children have different forms of learning patterns. Some learn by writing , some by drawing and some memorizing. I feel that every child should be given an opportunity to learn and be treated equally. Children have the ability to learn and as teachers we are there to help them progress in live to be better people and one who can support themselves out in the society
I love teaching and biology is my best subject. I have earned BS in Biology education which also has helped me to gain understanding of chemistry and math.I graduated in 2008 and since then I had only 4 months of teaching experience in a school. But I have done lot of tutoring for friends and family members and I love it.
