When I was in elementary school I would help my mother with daycare at our home. I would teach the children new concepts and play with them. During high school I joined the pathfinder club and taught some of the younger children. During college, I tutored elementary children in reading and in math and would make interventions for them. Laid-back, speech-focused. Although I am an expert and grammar and understanding grammar by relating it to English, I am a firm believer that simply speaking the language using subjects the student is interested in is the best way to learn and retain a language. I am very qualified to prepare the student for an exam, but also prepare them for conversation in Spanish or Italian.
I have taught high school Spanish in a Christian school for 3 years. In college, I traveled to South America 3 times, and returned after graduating to teach in a language institute in Chile. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I minored in Spanish in College. I can teach the basics all the way up to Spanish III.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in history. I currently am enrolled at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to obtain a Masters Degree in Education with a license to teach in the state of Tennessee in the middle grades. I have worked as a nanny during undergraduate for a couple different families. I have also worked through the YMCA as an after school teacher where I helped students K-6 with their homework. After graduating with a BA is History, I have worked as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, a Kindergarten Substitute Teacher, and an after school teacher for children 4 years through kindergarten.
