A Little Bit About Me...

As a former computer instructor, I can't tell you how much I miss teaching. Teaching was the one career in my life where I felt completely fulfilled. I truly love sharing my knowledge and being able to teach others. In addition to teaching, I am also a lifelong student. I have a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, an Associates Degree in Website Design and I am working towards an Associates Degree in Computer Programming. One thing I learned about teaching is that I never fail to learn something new, whether it be from a challenging question a student asks, or insight from a student that puts a new idea into my perspective. To go along with my writing passion, I also have a passion for working with children. I understand that each child is different; different skill sets, different learning methods and different needs. I like to get a deeper understanding of each child - their likes, interests, and goals - and use those things to creatively teach new concepts and ideas, or reaffirm old ones.
