My experience includes paid help to friends throughout high school, mostly in physics, math, and Spanish. I often would work for 2-3 hours with someone once a week. It was always casual and mostly during my junior and senior years of high school. I am in college now and have not had a chance to get involved with tutoring here.

Generally, my teching style varies from student to student, but I like to encourage students to think critically about problems in mathematics. I am a math major at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and I have completed all the major-specific requirements for my degree. I have also completed over 300 hours of tutoring and have acted as a teaching assistant for Algebra and Geometry courses. I have experience in algebra, trigonometry, geometry, calculus, logic, differential equations, and analysis.

My teaching style revolves around how the child learns. I adapt my lesson's around how the child will be able to best learn the material. I want to see them grow and develop as much as they can. I am now a teacher at a private school in Monona. I help aid a Preschool classroom and have my own classroom in the afternoon for students age four. I also run an after school program once the school day is done with and that incorporates 4 year-olds to seventh graders. I help students out with homework during that time. Before I started my teaching job, I was substituting in Madison and Verona Area School Districts. While in college I had many practicum's in different classrooms and would help students out inside and outside of the classroom. For the past two years, I nannied for a little boy and would help him out with his reading and any other homework he would have for the night.
