A Little Bit About Me...

Being very active in higher education, I find myself taking on the roles of educator often. I have a strong background in the natural sciences with a BS in Horticulture, MS in Crop & Soil Environmental Science and PhD in Environmental Design and Planning. Throughout my education I have also written many technical and scientific documents and could offer guidance in this area as well. I have recently completed student teaching and have earned my teaching certificate as an art specialist. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students at different levels with varying abilities. I have had internships at the high school and elementary levels, with time spent both in the art classroom as well as the special education classroom. As a substitute teacher, I learned to manage an array of classrooms and assumed all duties of a regular classroom teacher.
