Being very active in higher education, I find myself taking on the roles of educator often. I have a strong background in the natural sciences with a BS in Horticulture, MS in Crop & Soil Environmental Science and PhD in Environmental Design and Planning. Throughout my education I have also written many technical and scientific documents and could offer guidance in this area as well. I spent 10 years directing an adult literacy program where I trained volunteers to be tutors and tutored myself. During that time I took an intensive training course on working with people with learning disabilities. I have worked with ESOL students, as well.
