In working with students one needs to have the ability to connect with that student at their level of understanding. This can be different for every student, and the tutor needs to adjust to the student. A tutor has to be able to do this or the student will not be any better off. I elected to homeschool my three children who are now teenagers; thus I have many years of one-on-one teaching experience.
