Experience Summary
In the year of 2007, I received a bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Tennessee. I am currently completing graduate work in speech-language pathology in aims to someday provide services for children with communication disorders. Throughout my academic career, I have gained skills in reading/writing/and communication in various academic subjects. As a youth counselor, I have tutored children grades 1st-5th in areas of English, reading, math, science, and social studies.
Teaching Style
I am passionate in providing services for children to improve their education and overall quality of life. I am skilled in creating lesson plans that accommodate to individual student needs and learning patterns. I value the importance of designing a stimulating learning environment conducive to social and intellectual growth. I practice the child-centered approach that nurtures each student's talents and potential to succeed. I am a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual who hopes to have the opportunity to tutor and learn from the children through Advance Learners corporation.
