Public Relations Tutors & Teachers for Lessons, Instruction or Help in Dallas, WI

During my undergrad studies at UWRF, I was sponsored to become a tutor in the Writing Center on campus. There was a prerequisite practicum, but it was very hands-on learning. I worked with students from a variety of backgrounds (ESL, freshman comp, MS candidates, etc). At Metro State I participated in a semester program teaching English in Puerto Rico, for which I received the ESL certification. I also TA'd for Writing and Designing for the Web. I am a very adaptable teacher--I can easily pick up on a student's needs and abilities, and work to their strengths in that way. I enjoy not only helping them learn, but also their backstory and considering how it affects their learning style. I also have an innate love of learning, and feel that it's a great gift to help someone realize their own potential.

I designed and taught a first-ever prekindergarten program at St. Anne School in Somerset, WI. I also directed and taught children's programs with the YMCA for children age birth through prekindergarten, having received the YMCA Focus Award for Excellence in Children's Programs. I directed the marketing and campaign programs for a school, which allowed me to utilize my expertise in writing, finances, community relations, as well as written and verbal communication. I believe that every child has the ability to be a successful learner, and I enjoy watching my students grow and improve at different paces. My goal is to make each child feel comfortable in their learning environment, while challenging each student according to their level of ability. I respond well to students who become easily frustrated, and adjust my teaching style accordingly. It can only take one teacher to make a difference in a child's educational path.
