It seems I have always been involved in education, whether through planning/implementing lesson plans, creating assessments or one-on-one work with a student. I have experience in all areas of education with all ranges of students and have learned from each one of them. All lesson plans and standards are adaptable no matter the need. I have created unique units (such as "Language of the Week") and worked with birth through age 22.

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that each child's talents and abilities need to be nurtured through creative and constructive curriculum and delivery, including acknowledging the importance of integrating playtime with instruction. I have worked in many educational environments - public and private schools; juvenile detention facilities and home school cooperatives - each place offering it's own rules and protocol for developing and nurturing a child. I feel very strongly about a differential approach to my teaching methods. I believe every child is different and learns differently then the next child. I feel confident in developing a lesson plan that can be diverse enough to meet each and every child’s gifts and disadvantages. My life is dedicated to teaching and I hope that I will be able to teach for a very long time. My hopes are to eventually acquire a PhD in Education.
