Everyone has always told me that I was born to be a teacher, that I have an innate gift to decipher what a student needs and to promote success and accomplish goals. I am patient, considerate and flexible. Learning occurs through teachable moments every day, and it is how we respond to these moments that determines our future. Student needs and learning styles vary and educational structure should be adapted to the individual needs of the student. I enjoy all of my students and learn something new from every one. I feel very strongly about a differential approach to my teaching methods. I believe every child is different and learns differently then the next child. I feel confident in developing a lesson plan that can be diverse enough to meet each and every child’s gifts and disadvantages. My life is dedicated to teaching and I hope that I will be able to teach for a very long time. My hopes are to eventually acquire a PhD in Education.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a MA in Psychology from Concordia University. My BS in Human Development & Family Studies with a minor in Psychology is from Penn State University. I am currently taking Medical Coding and Billing classes on-line. I have over 15 years experience working with children in all settings (mental health, teaching, tutoring, volunteering etc.).
It truly does take a village to raise a child as the saying goes. I have been able to make many positive differences in many childrens lives by tutoring, volulnteering and working with them.
