I grew up went to college and received an Associates in liberal arts, a Bachelor's with a double major of English and Psychology and Master's in Education with certifications to teach both English and Psychology for grades 7-12 in the state of Michigan. I worked 11 years for Grand Rapids Public School district as a substitute teacher and full time teacher. I began to realize my love and aptitude for tutoring as a volunteer Japanese instructor for the Daikin home-stay program in 2006. The next two years I volunteered my time with Rosie's International Services tutoring Spanish. At the beginning of the Spring 2008 semester, the Head of the Foreign Language Department, Dr. Maier, submitted my name to a tutoring department at UAH, where I worked tutoring Spanish, Japanese, Latin, Chinese, and English as a Second Language until I graduated in Spring 2010.
