My teaching career began in 1991 as a College Lecturer. Since then I have taught mainly in junior college (including IB diploma, Cambridge A Level and AP programs). Additionally, I taught various branches of Mathematics to undergraduate and graduate programs of Heriot Watt, Southampton, SNDT, Mumbai and Pune universities. Teaching Operations Research, AP Statistics, AP Calculus, IB Math HL, IB Further Math, Probability, Algebra, Discrete Math and Calculus is my forte. When I teach, I like to focus on the conceptual part of the subject before diving into the problem solving aspect. I believe it is essential to understand the significance of the matter, not just go through the motions. During my time at the University of South Carolina, I was a part-time tutor for the athletic department. There, I provided academic assistance in accounting, college calculus and statistics. I use math on a constant basis, as I interned as an auditor at a public accounting firm in Columbia and was an CoOp analyst for Johnson and Johnson. Math is definitely my strong suit and I've always been able to communicate my knowledge effectively to others. In High School I received 5s on both the AB and BC Calculus Advanced Placement exams.

I was an Industrial Engineering Intern where I used AutoCAD on a day to day basis for plant floor flow and layout. I eventually interviewed perspective interns for their CAD abilities. I was awarded a full time position as a Design Engineer after college. I used Unigraphics every day of my job. I was later promoted to CAD Administrator within the next year. I was the youngest CAD Administrator in the entire company.

I have a BS in Chemistry. I am a very analytical person, science and math come very easily. I scored a 1400 on the SAT (750 Math) so I am eager to help those who want to improve on their score. I am in my last semester of obtaining a Master of Health Administration degree so I have the ability help anyone with the business/administrative side of the specialized industry. I have played guitar since the 7th grade and have performed for many charity concerts during the beginning of my undergraduate career. I would be best suited if a teenager wanted to learn guitar/vocals, especially if interested in rock (any subgenre).
