For the past four years I have been working at The Children's ARK-A residential treatment facility for at-risk youth. I was a teaching assistant my first year and I have been teaching for the last three years all content areas and subjects for grades 5-8. As for my educational background, I am currently on a TTE (Temporary Teaching license)and I will have my SPED generalist permanent license in May. Also, I will have an added endorsement and a Master's degree this summer 2010. I currently hold a B.A. in Psychology and that degree has proved to be very helpful with working with children with emotional issues. I have experience working with both audio/visual learners and a kinesthetic/tactile learner.
