I worked for the mathematics departments at my high school and university as an aid and as a tutor. As a result, I tutored many students in a variety of mathematics courses. I enjoy working one-on-one to help people understand a topic of which I am very passionate. I am currently working and saving money so that I can go on to get my masters in mathematics. During my time at college, I created a mentoring committee for underclassman that focused on business related items and school curriculum. I like to be interactive- when I'm teaching I prefer to work through a problem with a student together the first time, letting the student more or less watch me. The second time through, we approach the problem with a little more weight placed on the student.
