Experience Summary
Throughout my entire life, I have always been driven to do the best of my ability. This is especially the case when it comes to academics. While I was a college student, I learned the importance of teaching other colleagues the skill and technique to master a course. At college, I earned a BS in Biology with a concentration in Chemistry, giving me a deeper understanding of science. Even though my degree was in science, the subject of mathematics has always been a strong area for me as well. Throughout my tutoring experience, I have tutored students in mathematics and sciences, embracing the inner teacher inside of me.
Teaching Style
While everyone has a passion in life, my passion is to teach and to help shape a child’s academic future. One of the best ways to have an impact on a child’s life is through tutoring. My favorite aspect of tutoring is the opportunity to work one on one with a child and learn his or her individual learning style. Some of my teaching attributes are a good listener, easy going, patient, and most importantly an inspiring teacher. Every child has the ability to learn any subject; they just need the tools and the encouragement in order to do so.
