I have tutored several people on line. I go to an advanced school of choice. I am a straight a student, and I am taking all honors and ap classes. I have tutored 5 different people in person. I prefer tutoring middle school and elementary school students since I am almost a sophmore in hs, but I have tutored a senior taking calculus before. Normally I will watch as the student works and when they get stuck is when I would help them. If they do not understand the material I will go back and teach it again. Once they seem to get it I would give one or two practice problems just to be sure they understand completely. I have no issues with repeating things multiple times if it means furthering the child's knowledge. I have only ever tutored my neighbors two daughters. They both benefitted from it and both of the girls grades went up.
