My first tutoring experience was in my freshman year of college. I tutored basic college algebra and calculus. Having earned two bachelor degrees in both math and physics. I feel I have a good understanding of not only the theory but also the applications of math to science. Tutoring both privately and publicly has also increased my speaking and presentation abilities. As a young child I was diagnosed with dyslexia. I have worked hard to to get my degree and have overcome many challenges. I was hired full-time to teach in the sciences at a private college in Michigan. The subjects I taught included Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Nutrition, Chemistry and more. Over three years, I advanced to Dean of Health Sciences, and while I set up and administered programs in that area, I continued to teach in the sciences. After I moved to Wilmington, I taught for Miller-Motte College and one semester at Hoggard High School in Chemistry and Earth Science.
