I have tutored individuals in grades 1-12 in various subject areas. I have been encouraged to pursue English, Writing, and Journalism as professions because of my talent in each area. I have tested at least 4 grade levels above my grade level since I began taking standardized tests. I have the ability to disect subjects in a way that makes learning fun and understandable. I've been informally teaching for around 7 years, starting with private percussion lessons and high school drumline instruction and most recently tutoring through the Migrant Education Program in the subject areas of English as a Second Language, math, science, and Spanish.
