Learning has always been important to me. I've always strived to further my education and find new things to learn. I have earned a Master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, which involved english, writing, math, business, reading and of course marketing. I also earned a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications. A lot more english, and writing was had, but also included a great deal of editing and grammar skills. I have a Master of Arts degree in English from Utah State University and have taught EFL overseas and within the US. Recently (from 07-08), I worked as a Math Tutor for challenged fifth graders and also for Kindergarteners part-time at Lincoln Elementary in Layton while my son was in pre-school. Especially with younger kids, a high degree of focus on my part can be necessary to keep them on task, but I find that one can be firm with them and not need to be patronizing or forceful.
