I have been tutoring for over 10 years in all types of Math, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus etc. I have also been tutoring in Chemistry and Physics. No drudgery!

Student-led and interactive. No lectures. No drudgery. I focus on the process of solving problems. Restate the question. Draw diagrams. Figure out what information is missing. How can I get that information? Can it be calculated or is an estimate good enough? What sources are reliable?
I solve problems. I am a bioanalytical chemist and biomedical engineer. This profession requires using math, statistics, biology and chemistry at a high level on a daily basis as I develop products that improve healthcare. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always found that the best teachers are the ones who are able to explain the same concept in a variety of ways, so this is what I seek to do when teaching. I also attempt to not only teach a student how to do a problem, but also to gain a "big picture" view of the concept being taught; i.e., I want the student to be able to not only apply the concept to problems of the same type that he/she does in homework, but also to related problems that he/she might not have previously seen.
