My comments on tutoring Violin : I have played for eleven years and taken private lessons.

I graduated from Presbyterian College with a double degree in biology and psychology and a minor in chemistry. Many of the courses I completed in biology were in the natural sciences such as paleontology, biogeography, and botany, which I flourished in. I also took organic chemistry I and II, biochemistry, and genetics, which I am good at as well. I believe in good classroom management and organized lesson plans. I set appropriate boundaries and expect the students to follow the rules that are set before them. That being said I try to make the learning as fun as possible but organized. I also try to bring in anything that they are interested in to make them enjoy the subject they are learning. If I can find an example in life they can relate to that will help them learn something I will find it and bring it in. I love working with children and really love math.
Although I have been self employed for the last 6 years, I went back to school last year to add Science and Math for middle school to my certification.
