A Little Bit About Me...

While attending the University of Chicago (2003-2007), I completed a rigorous curriculum characterized by both advanced coursework in mathematics and the social sciences. Each year leading up to graduation, I served as a mathematics tutor within the Cook County School district. I specialized in Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. Following my return to Southern California after graduation, I accepted a position as a bilingual instructional assistant within the Saddleback Valley School district. Within this capacity, I assist students with Algebra and Calculus in both Spanish and English. Furthermore, having studied abroad extensively in Italy during college, I am proficient in both Italian and Latin as well.

I have taught/tutored for over twenty-Five years in California, Arizona, Virginia, and Ontario, Canada. I taught/ mentored students from around the world at a Canadian boarding school. I have held teaching certificates in Arizona, Virginia and California. I also taught three years of Greek and experience teaching Grades K-12.
I am a philosopher at heart. I enjoy students and desire to share with them my love for learning which is a life-long process.
