I am a direct teacher. I look for what works and try not to use what doesn't work for too long. Especially when dealing with dyslexics, too much "teaching" has led to failure. I like nothing better than to grapple with a problem until it is resolved. This may imply that I am a more tactile learner myself, but I have seen that I am balanced on all three major learning style fronts.
