In Nassau, Bahamas, after graduating from high school in 2006, my grandmother encouraged me to take an Adobe Photoshop class that was being held at a nearby Technical School. I had know clue of how powerful a tool Photoshop was, but I thought I'd give attending that class a try because my grandmother told me that graphic design was the industry of the future. I fell in love with Photoshop's photo-manipulation capabilities, and I crashed about 3 computers in that year playing with this powerful design software like a kid with a coloring book. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is my passion I enjoy seeing the end result, when the student sees what they have accomplished. That is my reward. I understand that people in general usually fall into 1 or more of these learning styles: Visual/Verbal, Visual/ Nonverbal, Tactile/Kinesthetc, or Auditory/Verbal. A Little Bit About Me...

After graduating from North Carolina State University, I began to apply and share the value of learning and education with my community. I developed an edible schoolyard curriculum and garden that integrated math, science, and social studies as part of the core curriculum. The elementary students were highy enthusiastic in the opportunity to engage in this experiential approach to education. My teaching style is simple. As it has not been professionally nurtured I have taken my ques from those I have taught. It is simply to provide what is needed. I prefer to spend time with a student and learn what works for them. I believe trial of multiple styles to find success is critical to each student. As the child of a school system administrative professional, I have always spent extra time in the school environment.
