Experience Summary
In high school, I was on our school's speech team, I competed at the varsity level all throughout high school. I placed at every competetion, without fail. I placed in advanced English classes in high school, and tested in to the second level of English classes at Western Illinois University my freshman year. I have won state wide writing competetions, and have a poem published in a book of young writers. I went to school for Journalism and Communications, but am currently taking a year off. I have also taken and passed the Illinois basic skills test, and took 2 years of Special Education courses at Western Illinois University.
Teaching Style
I believe each student is different; therefore, I change how I approach my teachings based upon the individual.
My Hobbies
I enjoy writing, watching movies, reading, shopping, hanging out with my friends; normal stuff. :)
Other Comments
I believe that the most important thing to keep in mind when teaching someone somthing, especially kids, is that they want to know when they are going to use what they are learning. If someone thinks that the material they are studying is irrelevant to their daily lives, they aren't going to care to learn it.
