I have been working with students in both one-on-one and group settings for going on 14 years. I began tutoring groups of children at an inner city after school program in Language Arts and Reading Comprehension. I went into further training at my high school and became a designated math tutor for those in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Geometry. After high school I revisted my loved for tutoring at Jefferson County Community College where I tutored Reading Comprehension, Composition, and Study Skills. Throughout the years I have tutored a variety of students in various areas through freelance work, tutoring groups, and volunteer work. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a good experience of tutoring hundreds of students over a decade period of time. I have tutored from first grade student to bachelors' degree students. I have formally taught students from grades four to ten for six months as a science teacher. Recently, I helped my wife in Anatomy and Physiology I and II and Lab and College Algebra. She got straight A's in them upgrading her GPA. Most importantly, my tutoring helped my students to uplift their self-esteem, confidence and to accept learning as a process which can be made more pleasant and simple. :)
