I have a good experience of tutoring hundreds of students over a decade period of time. I have tutored from first grade student to bachelors' degree students. I have formally taught students from grades four to ten for six months as a science teacher. Recently, I helped my wife in Anatomy and Physiology I and II and Lab and College Algebra. She got straight A's in them upgrading her GPA. I have been working with students in both one-on-one and group settings for going on 14 years. I began tutoring groups of children at an inner city after school program in Language Arts and Reading Comprehension. After high school I revisted my loved for tutoring at Jefferson County Community College where I tutored Reading Comprehension, Composition, and Study Skills. Throughout the years I have tutored a variety of students in various areas through freelance work, tutoring groups, and volunteer work. I have been teaching for 13 years. I began teaching Social Studies classes at the high school level and taught every variety of student for 6 years. I then received my Masters in Special Education and began working with special needs students in the high school setting. While teaching Special Education students,I received my Specialists Degree in Special Education. I currently teach Social Studies to learning disabled, emotional behavior students, and Mildly Intellectually disabled students. I am also in charge of the tutoring program for the whole school in Social Studies. I have a lot of patience and am willing to try anything. I also teach 2 resource classes to the LD and EBD students where we work on their individual problems. Every student is different so I have to be a jack of all trades to work with them.
