I feel that I am a natural educator. I often find my self teaching people simple tasks at work, or being called upon by friends and family members to assist them, or their children with their homework. I like to keep learning fun and interesting for all students. I believe that if you invoke an emotional response, like happiness, when you are teaching something, the pupil is much more likely to retain the information. My teaching style totally depends on the student(s) that I am working with. Not all children learn at the same pace, nor do they all have the same attention span. That said, I find that applying the “token economy” approach, in getting the children to focus on the task, is very effective.
