I am effective in two teaching styles. The first is by speaking Russian 100% as a way to teach it. The second is by teaching grammar, vocabulary, etc. in a text book style format. I lived in Russia for two years where I was surrounded by native speakers and acquired a native level accent in speaking. Following my two year time in Russian I got a bachelors degree in Russian Language and Literature. Since completing my degree my wife and I speak Russian at home with our children, who are bilingual.
