I have tutored in the tutoring center at the Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL and also a few students taking classes at St.Petersburg College. I also currently work at the Greater Ridgecrest YMCA and formally worked at the Clearwater YMCA so I am good at interacting with children. I prefer to work with motivated students. I enjoy one on one tutoring best, but I can work in a group setting. I think I am best at explaining concepts verbally. Particularly when I tutor math, I like to explain the reasoning and concepts behind what I am teaching, rather than encouraging rote memorization.
