English ESOL is one of my top subjects! For 3 years I have offered Chinese international students my services to help them gain a better understanding of American culture and the English language. I begin my tutoring session by determining the area of Spanish or English Grammar in which the student shows the most difficulty. I ask my student to present a copy of his or her last exam. I engage the student in Spanish conversation at the appropriate level, and I examine his or her reading and writing ability in the language. I decided at the age of 38 to attend college and earn my BA of Education degree. I have worked with and coached young people most of my life on a volunteer basis.
