My teaching style exhibits a very individualized, hands-on approach. Even in a classroom with 20-30 students, I attempt to understand individual learning styles and work with students on an individual basis when possible. A teacher has to learn to listen to his or her class and realize when the moment to abandon the lesson plan has come.
