I am a senior college student at The University of Alabama. I speak English and Arabic fluently and fully confident with the basics of the French language. I am also a McNair Scholar and I conduct academic and professional research. Besides being a student and a scholar, I volunteer my free time to tutor students. Because I enjoying tutoring I most of the time don't charge the students. I certainly have a passion to help students and have been tutoring for years.

I love teaching middle and high school level students. I also enjoy working with adult English language learners. I believe to be successful in teaching, a teacher has to keep an open mind, because each student is different and his/her learning strategy is different. I believe collaborative method works best for students, because students will have to opportunity to learn from their peers in the classroom. Before beginning a lesson, a teacher has to find out the level of his/her student. Once the teacher is aware of the weakness and strength of her/his students, she/he can organize the group in the classroom. My teaching style exhibits a very individualized, hands-on approach. Even in a classroom with 20-30 students, I attempt to understand individual learning styles and work with students on an individual basis when possible. As a tutor, my approach is not to use a standard approach to which I expect the student to adhere. I feel it is my responsibility to understand how the student learns and comes to understand.
