I am a hands-on, visual learner, but not everyone is the same. I am able to adapt to each child's specific learning style. If I am explaining something and the student is unable to grasp the concept, I want them to feel completely comfortable asking me to explain it in a different way. I like to be able to know the student a little more personal level, to understand their way of thinking.
