Experience Summary
Over the years, I have consistently maintained both high moral values and excellent academic standards. While earning my two BA Degrees, I served both as a tutor and substitute teacher in several elementary schools. My second BA Degree was earned from Warner University in the elementary education major which was earned in addition to my special education endorsement. Armed with a degree in education and proven extensive grammatical skills, I taught middle and high school students in all academic disciplines including Math, Reading, English, Writing, Literature, Social Studies, Life Skills, History, Science, and Geography.
Teaching Style
I am committed to helping each person reach his or her highest and greatest potential. My goal is to provide each student with an educational environment conducive for a successful learning experience. The tutor must establish the learning setting by creating parameters for the emotional, physical, and mental safety of each student. Specifically, this means the physical location must be without distracters, while the learning content is perceived as helpful, fun, exciting, relevant, and beneficial. The demeanor of the instructor must be serious while being neither stern nor judgmental.
