It doesn't matter what they don't know because I believe anyone can be taught anything, at least as long as you have the right teacher and materials at your disposal. I believe students are like little sponges. They're taking in everything around them. Obviously, if you fill their heads with garbage, they will learn garbage. My experience is all in college. I had 9 Labs in college in all my science courses. I excelled very well in my science courses and i keep learning. Did great in my research project class. Played college baseball so i am great with athletes that do not want to study. I can break down big concepts into smaller concepts that is understandable for all students in the academia process. I studied a lot myself to achieve success in college and do well in classes.
Hands on, and more of an application study. I believe that the only way to actually understand something is being able to apply it to real world situations.

My first teaching experience came from tutoring my own daughter who has a learning disability.This experience has taught me to see first hand the difficulties children can have learning new concepts. Happily my daughter graduated from Keiser University with honors. I also teach a High School Geometry and Algebra Two class. Students and parents have both expressed that my warm nature and straight forward explanations have made learning difficult concepts much easier.
