Hands on, and more of an application study. I believe that the only way to actually understand something is being able to apply it to real world situations.
My experience is all in college. I had 9 Labs in college in all my science courses. I excelled very well in my science courses and i keep learning. Did great in my research project class. I have been working with children for several years. I started by teaching dance at a local dance studio while I was in high school. It was from this experience that I chose to go to college to become a teacher. I have a degree in Elementary Education and am ESOL certified. Happily my daughter graduated from Keiser University with honors. I also teach a High School Geometry and Algebra Two class. Students and parents have both expressed that my warm nature and straight forward explanations have made learning difficult concepts much easier.
