Honors High School Graduate with experience in teaching

I have worked at Kumon Learning Center as a primary instructor for over a year, and have had ample experience in working with children of all ages in math and reading (teaching them the basic pronunciation of various letter sounds and words and basic mathematical concepts). Whenever I can, I like to be very hands-on in my teaching my students. For example, once I was teaching my class about trees. I had them go outside and collect samples of bark which had fallen on the ground. Then we created a gigantic mural in my classroom and glued the pieces of bark to a tree we had drawn.
