I teach them what the teachers do not or will not teach. I also help my clients understand the materials given to them and even help them find anything relating to their course of study which will help them in their assignments.

I am a two year history major with a life long interest in history. I am also an avid writer with various blogs, articles, and a few books either written or edited. While substituting right before FCAT, I was very excited. I was actually going to be able to teach writing and the elements of writing to the students. My objective was to evaluate where the students were and where they needed to be in 5 weeks for the FCAT writing. I used many techniques that the students loved; assigning a writing prompt, having the students write their responses, then getting in groups of two, the students traded their papers and their peers read and evaluated them.
