I love teaching and tutoring children of all ages. Although I have only formally been tutoring for about 6 years, I was a tutor all through my childhood helping other children learn when I finished with my classwork. Since first grade I have always wanted to be a teacher, although my brain tried to steer me in a different direction in college. Yet, my heart brought me back to teaching. As a special eduation major, I was provided with various methods of teaching using adaptations and modifications to meet student's needs. I taught at the high school level for 3 years. As a requirement of the special education curriculum, I developed yearly attainable goals for each of my students with documented modifications for each area.
