I have taught private music lessons since 2006. My primary instrument is piano. I have tutored English, Math and Science for the last 3 years. My students have achieved fantastic results. I am very passionate about educating others and have used my two Education degrees (Bachelor’s and Master’s) to work with students of all levels, especially in math. In my three years of full-time teaching experience, I have taught 6th grade math, 8th grade math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Trigonometry, and AP Calculus. A Little Bit About Me...

I got my first teaching experience as a lab instructor for undergraduate physics labs and fell in love with the profession. The best part of the experience is seeing the student grasp a concept that they felt out of reach. I enjoy coming up with inventive ways of communicating the difficult portions of math and science. Most of my students benefited from my teaching style which includes many examples and encourages a dialogue approach to difficult concepts.
