My comments on tutoring Government : Our government is large and quite confusing. I'll teach you how to remember which branch does what and why.

I go with the styles that fit the student. I generally use the first couple of visits to assess what works best for the student and then work with the student in a calm and patient yet firm manner. I do not try to force results, every student learns differently and has different aptitudes. Therefore, it wiser not to push the student too hard for results, rather I push myself to find new and inventive ways to help students learn the material.
Took three years of college courses on Psychology at Ashford University, trained with a Computer Troubleshooting Specialist for four years, have two books of my own written word poetry published. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught for 20+ years in Germany (mainly Math, English and Reading) and for 4 years in Kansas City, MO. There I taught all core subjects: Math, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies. Right now I have got several part time jobs: I work as a sub at a colligiate high school (all subjects), I will teach German at the Edison College in Fort Myers (Continuing Education) and I tutor for a private company doing SES tutoring - Reading and Math. I have prepared young people to do their GED, too. The subjects I did there were Math, Science and American History.

A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy working with junior high, high school, and college level students. I am able to communicate material that will encourage the student to be analytical and draw conclusions on his or her own, especially for subjects in the social sciences.
