Early Childhood Education Major Experienced in Tutoring

I graduated high school in 2013 and became a student at Adams State University in the fall of 2013. I then moved to Georgia and I am currently working through my application process to Columbus State University. I did a lot of volunteer work during high school and was involved in many things, ranging from two years in ROTC to becoming a Student Ambassador for the "People to People" program. I am a very hard worker and proven to be very resourceful. I love helping other people unlock their full potential because I want to see them succeed in life. I have taught two years of middle school and home schooled my daughter. I have worked as a substitute teacher on and off for several years. My emphasis in college was English and Math so I feel very comfortable teaching either of these subjects as well as reading.
My teaching style is flexible. Students learn in different ways and at different paces. It is my job to discover how the students learn and what they respond best to. All students learn at different levels. I like to incorporate all the learning styles of students. Some learn by hands-on, others by listening, and some by writing. These are all used by me. Each student has their own learning style and a teacher has to help each find what works for each student and then incorporate this to meet the needs for that particular student.
