I began working on teaching methods for AD/HD students. I have also trained over 200 teachers. I have tutored students for the GED, ACT, SAT, LSAT, and MCAT. I believe strongly in approaching each child with a variety of techniques. I let the child explore why, then give concept information. As a recent graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with a B.S. in Biology, I plan on using the degree in order to pursue a higher education but also to teach. Even though I have been very active in the performing arts, teaching is my primary passion. I received a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Music from the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati. However, I completed a Ph.D. in Education at the University of Florida in 1990. I was a full-time special needs teacher at Oak Park School in Sarasota, Florida from 1998 until 2006.
