Experience Summary
After graduation I taught English for 28 years. During this time I became a Dept. Head. I also was trained to train teachers in learning styles and hemisphericity. I have adult AD/HD. I began working on teaching methods for AD/HD students. I have also trained over 200 teachers.
I have tutored students for the GED, ACT, SAT, LSAT, and MCAT.
Teaching Style
I believe strongly in approaching each child with a variety of techniques. I let the child explore why, then give concept information. The student then needs to practice, and finally personalize the information. This must be done using both analysis (left brain) and synthesis(right brain).
