My style is to teach a concept during the one on one session with me. I then give them homework to reinforce the learning on personal time. In the following meeting I revise what we learnt in previous session to ensure they understood before proceeding to next topic. I give the students steps to follow to solve the problem and for word problems I teach them how to pick out key information needed in order to solve them. Stanislaus, I became well prepared for all the nuances besides teaching that goes with being a teacher.
