My style is to teach a concept during the one on one session with me. I then give them homework to reinforce the learning on personal time. In the following meeting I revise what we learnt in previous session to ensure they understood before proceeding to next topic. I work with students with different learning styles (pictures, words and numbers) and will adapt to their needs. I am patient and will explain numerous times, in different ways, to ensure learning.
During my undergraduate years, I was tutoring a local grade 4 student in math. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience in making a difference in somebody's life. A Little Bit About Me...

Math and biological sciences have always been subjects, which have interested me. I have graduated from UCLA with a BS in Applied Mathematics and during my undergraduate studies I also took several biology courses. Following graduation, I worked at prep center for high school students where I taught and tutored students in math from algebra to calculus.
