Experience Summary
Graduating with an English degree provides me with so many opportunities outside of just teaching. I have experience with teaching others, editing others, work and assisting professors with assignments. I have experience in writing and editing. Extensive research writing has increased my grammatical skills and vocabulary. I have tutored elementary and middle school students. I have mentored several high school students with different subjects, but of course English is the primary subject in which I am skilled.
Teaching Style
I love working with children. I believe children need the opportunity to showcase his/her learning skills outside the classroom. I am very encouraging, patient, easy going, yet firm. My goal is to make sure students are able to maintain what is learned inside and outside the classroom. I will make sure there is progress with your child's academics. Teaching inspires me to want to educate everyone. I believe every child has the ability to learn and tutoring/mentoring helps them do so especially if the lesson is not being fully understood in the classroom.
